Farewell Party ____________________________________________________ My vacation job is coming to an end. I started in the company since 11 May 2005 and it will ended on 22 July 2005. This week is my last week in the company and the collegues have been great in giving me treats.
On Monday, Mr Yip, Linda and Amy brought me back to NUS to have lunch. Initially I wanted to bring them to Arts Canteen, but there was no available parking in law and it was raining heavily. In the end, we went Engine Canteen to eat. Engine Canteen changed most of the vendors already so I could not recommend them with anything except that ask them not to eat the Chicken Rice Stall (which I was quite surprise it was still there). Today Ms Peanut drove me, Pauline, Linda and Sharon to Raffles Marina to have dinner. It is a country club and I suspected it is a yacht club too. We went to the resturant there. Initially Ms Peanut wanted to sit outside because there is better view out there. Sadly there is a function there, so we took the inside seats. After having our meal, we wanted to have dessert and we requested to go out since the function ended. We manage to take the outside seats. The view there is really spectacular. I really love it. Probably it is the sunset too. It is the sun and the sea kinda thingy, it just looks better. Hah. The sky is in beautiful pink and blue. haha. It is really nice. We ate til 820pm and left for home. I wonder what will happen tomorrow since it is my last day. Will it be like last year? |
