Caged Birds
____________________________________________________

This is a story of 2 caged birds.

Once upon a time, in a not very far away land, there lived a caged bird. Everyday it was yearning for freedom, wondering why it just can't fly out of the cage. It flapped its wings and try flying out, it would just hurt its own puny little bones because it would just crashed onto the cage. No matter how hard it try, with its own little strength, it just can't knock off the gate of the cage.

One day, it saw the gate of the cage was opening, it decided to venture out, trying out its flying skills. It soared high and felt high, just like some dodos taking drugs. The freedom is so addictive. It enjoyed the freedom very much. Never in its life, it has experience freedom.

Sometimes it will go back to the old residence to check out everything. Checking out if its master is enjoying life and everything else. Soon it realised that its master is not eating well and sleeping well. It felt sad and pity the master. But it just can't bear to give up its freedom.

One fine day, the bird came back to the old residence as usual. It realised something weird. There's a beautiful big cage on the table and the gate is open. The bird decided to fly in to check it out. Before it manage to realise anything the gate was closed.

Now, the bird is a caged bird again. Its freedom is lost. Even though this new cage is much bigger than the old one, it's still a cage. The bird missed its freedom very much. Day and night, it kept thinking how nice it would be to soar again. But it knew his master will never let the gate open ever again.

Many days past, the bird also lost count of the days. Time was no longer an issue anymore. It was just a caged bird. Its master brought back a bird which looked lifeless. He place the bird into a small cage. The old bird looked handicap as it struggled hard to wake up and eat its food. The bird felt so sad for the old bird, but there is nothing much it can do, but only to pray for it.

Well, HE is officially BEDRIDDEN.
