The Only Memories of Geylang Serai ____________________________________________________ Someone claims that this is the last year pre-Hari Raya celebration is going to be held at Geylang Serai, because they are going to tear it down. I have never been there before and I am dying to go before it vanishes into thin air. So this year, when Fazial is going for his new year shopping, the usual gang of us just tag along. hehe.
We went there on MONDAY evening after our lecture. (Sorry for posting late, cos busy with T2 . . hehe) We went there, chi tong si, mai tong si, chi tong si, mai tong si (translation - eating thing, buying things, eating thing, buying things; taken from Hongkong Tourism slogan). It is quite nice, not very packed. Its like experience of a life time. Did not manage to take everything that I wanted to take, firstly no time, secondly not enough memory in DG. hehe. Those below are the essence okay. hehe.  Lights at the Start of Geylang Serai  More Lights (left side)  More Lights (right side)  Start of Pasar Malam Makan  FOOD  More FOOD  Sold out Hotdogs (got overflow sauces, check out those far left) Haven seen BBQ corn cob for a very long time. . looks juicy (far right)  Nice Potato Pastry  A lot of Potato Pastries (and MINE is in the plastic bag... Muahaha)  Chicken Wings on in Chopsticks... looks cool  Basins of Curry . . COOL right?  Pasar Malam beside Blocks (which are going to be teared down by next year)  I like the pattern pattern on the facade, but its gonna be teared down  Black Sheep Pasar (according to STAR .Q) The whole Geylang Serai gonna be teared down because of the BLACK SHEEP!! Heard that the drains of this market has residue of black matter; this in fact is dried blood. Can you imagine this?  Pasar Malam Clothes  Peek Preview of what he is going to wear during Hari Raya Poor Fazial gotta go back to KOPITIAM and work. So we just followed him back and have dinner there. Gopi : Huh? What do you want to show them?  Faizal : I can SUCK ! Gopi : OH Gosh! He can REALLY SUCK.  Faizal : Licking is not a problem for me too. Gopi : Aiyaaa. So easy. I can do it too.
