Vertical Shopping Alley ____________________________________________________ I went to Sim Lim to check out PQ's pressie today. I din buy it though, but I found a nice shopping place in Bugis. I think the place is call ICON@Bugis.
It is located beside YU KEE duck rice and the chou duo fu there. The location used to reside a shophouse. When it was toren down in 2 quarter of 2003, I was rather upset. Cos it's a loss of history, memory and style. But now, it was replaced by a arty shopping place. It is a 7 levels building. Initially, me and kel are walking towards Yu Kee for dinner. Before crossing the road from Bugis Junction, I saw the building. The facade is abit exhibitionist, fully glass-claded. Neon lights shone through the windows. There's one shop that caught my attention even when I am on the opposite street. That is "HAUT". It is a guys vintage shop. Super Duper Cool!! We went in after our dinner. Waiting for the lift is a very sickening process. However when you entered the lift, it says "Sorry to keep you waiting.". All the sianness became cuteness. Haha. Level 7 is a rooftop bar. We did not go there. We stopped by Level 6 and walked down. Surprisingly, I bought something from level 2. It's gonna be my new coin pouch, where I can also put my cards and handphone. Heh. The pouch says "the perfect lamb". How I wished I could. But... haha. Anyway, the pouch is nice, with a cute lil sheep. This is all it matters. Hah. I wanna go again.
