annoyance VS fun

According to the date of my previous post, I haven't been blogging for a long long time. There are many occasions which I wanted to blog, but I just could not find the time to. So I decided to compress everythin onto one blog. hahah.
This one month has been filled with annoyance and fun. Let's start with the annoyance, since it is just one major issue.
My brother left for US on 30th Sep. I did not go airport to send him off because I thought it's gonna be a family outing, no point to have so many people there. Moreover, I don't want to wake up so early as I slept super late the night before. He'll be gone for half a year.
This implies that I'm gonna be the only child for half a year. haizz.
Annoyance in this case would definitely not be caused by me missing my brother. On the other hand, I'm rather grateful that he's not here to nag at me. However, when my brother is gone, all of my parents' attention would be on me. This made me very uncomfortable. I have gotten used to their lack of attention over the twenty years of my life. Suddenly when my brother is gone, they redirected their energy on me, which multiples itself when they missed my brother even more. So they grasp hold of me even tighter. They nags at me, they implemented new curfew, they make sure I eat my fruits, keep my room tidy, and anything which they could comment, they would comment, and so on.. I just felt they have barged into my zone.
I am rather annoyed by it.
I don't want to be the only child.
I'm having the ANTI-ONLY-CHILD syndrome.
To counter this feeling (which aint working well, because they don't understand my motive of these action and thus they complained which addes on to my annoyance), I had some fun. (:
After my brother left, these are what I did.
4th OCT : Zouk
People involved: Beiquan, Xiuping, and Jason
I met Xiuping at night to go somewhere to grab some free drinks. In the end, we went MOMO and there's some cinderella event down there. There's girls queuing up to take some photo shoots, but both of us did not join in. Then, we went to the liveband section. The liveband haven't start, I don't think we'll wait til the liveband to start anyway, cos the final destination is still ZOUK. I found out later on that Caryn was at O-bar, so both of us went down to O-bar. I gotta discuss some beer stuff with her. Xiuping at this point of time is rather excited, cos she hadn't club-hop for a very long time. She missed those days she club-hop with Hazel. I saw Caryn's new cutie there. German. Not bad looking. But didn't have the chance to talk to him as Caryn is SHY. Yes, she's shy. But then again, she's got his number. I wondered how much shyness is tat. Beiquan picked us up at 11 plus, then went over to Jason's place to picked him up. We started grilling Jason about his new GF, which he told us slightly earlier. Later on, we found out that his new GF is in fact MAMBO. This is such a let down. Haiz.
That night in Zouk was great. I remembered complaining to PQ that I haven't been enjoying all my clubbing sessions recently, as the previous few times I went down just to "show face", like Hazel's birthday and Alex's birthday. Wed was good. Never enjoyed myself so much especially on a mambo night. People never get drunk or do stupid stuff. The only one that got high was Jason, when he mixed E33 and Heniken. The high-ness was short liven. And as usual, Jason - the gay magnet, managed to have guys picking him up. Jason!! Why are you fighting Guys with the girls!!! But this time round, the guy who picked him up is 8 years younger than him. Muahhaa.
After tat, we went for supper in TANG SHUI. Nice place for supper, especially after ZOUKING. Hehe.
7th OCT : Russel Peters & Caryn's BBQ

Arpan picked me up in the evening to go Russel Peters. I think I shall not start on how Arpan detoured all the way. Heheh. Arpan, you must be glad right. So Arpan picked me up, his friend, then Pruthvi. When I saw Arpan's the other friend at SCO, I find it weird that I actually went to Russel Peters with a group of Indians - 3 Bengalis and 1 central indian. Russel Peters was fun too. I love his ZERO joke and his porn joke especially. I like the way he made fun of the indian parents there. Hhahaa. The guy that started the show - the Greek Angelios, is good also. I like his stuttering joke. Pruthvi saw him before and commented that Angelios is good too.
Actually, I do like the part when Pruthvi told me that he's crying, cos he laughed to o hard, which I found that very funny. Hehehee.
Oh, there's one part when Russel Peters was asking if there's any american present, a black put up his hands. Russel Peters was wondering if he's telling a lie as his skin color is 10 times darker is Russel Peters. So he kept joking about the afro-american the whole night, that he's the first to run out of the theatre. There's another guy which he joke about, Lai - the claw man. Also disappear soon after the show ends. Haha.
After the show, Arpan drop his friends and Pruthvi off, then we went back school to pick up Yaohua, Chuiling, PQ and Kel to Caryn's party. By the time we reach there, it was very late. But there's still food there. Haha. Gopi's satay is very nice. I ate alot. Hhaha. Haohan's potato is not very spectacular, but me and PQ still finished everything. We had no idea why. We also mixed the stirred-fried potatoes with portibello mushroom. The potatoes taste better with the addition of mushrooms. Hha. Eric's sotong is super spicy. By the time I could help out, Xiaohui, Haohan, Kiat finished cooking everything. So we tried to finish all the food.
We gave Caryn her pressies. I am so glad that she like all of them. The MAC color was something she did not have too. Haha - fortunately. Her reactions when she saw the gifts were larger than life. That's not uncommon of her, but it's good that she do not hide her feelings.
We went over to Caryn's place and nuan. Stayed there til quite late. Eric offered to send me home. He did not do it in a direct way. He kept saying "How are you going home. I'm sending Aatish home." He repeated this 2 sentences at least 5 times. So I just joked with him "Waaa, you hinting that you want to send me home arh. Okay lor." Then he started saying that I can go home myself. Hahaha. I think I made him abit paiseh. Haha. Just thought that it was super funny.
When Eric send me back, he also took the wrong route. Haha. So that day, my trip was filled with de-tours regardless of driver. I guess its my luck.
8th OCT : Vienna Boy's Choir
People involved: Caryn
Went with Caryn for Vienna Boy's Choir. First, I bought the tickets wrongly, I got the backstage seats, which I regretted 10 mins after I bought it. I would not be able to hear well due to the voice projection. Haizz. Later on, I remember the timing wrongly. I thought the show starts at 8, but instead, it starts at 730. I saw the timing wrongly as 8 was the time I bought my tickets. So we missed the first half before the intermission. First half was abit of musical performance and they were singing in German for some of the songs. Second half was normal choir performance. When it reaches Caryn's favorite song, Saint Lucia, the Vienna boys turned around and faced us instead of the normal audience. They sounded wonderful. How I wished I was not seating at the backstage. Caryn was so touched when they turned around and sung her favorite song though. Actually I do like the seats of the backstage more than the front, cos it's more like cushion on benches. But the view is not good at all. I would not advise anyone to buy those seats even for choir performance.
Vienna boys choir is the best choir I ever heard!! But it's still abit wasted.
Because of my blur-ness, I paid for Caryn's tickets also. Cos I felt extremely bad about it.
After that, I brought Caryn to Menotti. The food there is nice as usual. But I think I should go there for set lunch one day. Oh, btw, the cakes there are 50% off after 10pm. Both of us got cakes back home. (: .
I tried the apple strudel the next day. I did not really like it, because there's too much nuts and cinnamon in there. But other cakes taste GREAT.
