Problematic Males ____________________________________________________ I think more and more guys are having identity crisis right now. Recently, there is a sudden surge of different roles for guys to play. In olden times, they only the one type of role to play - MALE species. Now it's different, they have a wide variety to choose from.
Let's discuss what roles can male play (regardless of age and condition - means father, son this kinda role would not be discussed) 1) Normal Male - I guess normal in itself is rather subjective. I'll let the readers decide for themselves. 2)Alpha Man (stone-age man) - A dominant man: a man who controls the activities of a group and to whom others defer. Having traits like Agressive, Domineering, Independent, Strong, No Nonsense. 3) MCP - Chauvinistic Guys (they just think too highly of themselves) 4) SNAG - Sensitive New Age Guy (who are sensitive to female needs) 5) Metrosexual - an urban male of any sexual orientation who has a strong aesthetic sense and spends a great deal of time and money on his appearance and lifestyle. Usually have a lot of Female friends. 6) Retrosexual - man with a generally poor sense of style -- not necessarily a boor; rather, someone who rejects being finicky about physical appearance. He who rejects casual sex as mindless and immoral. (opp of Metrosexual) 7) Ubersexual - man who embrace the positive aspects of their masculinity or 'M-ness' (e.g., confidence, leadership, passion, compassion), without giving in to the stereotypes that give guys a bad name (e.g., disrespect toward women, emotional emptiness, complete ignorance of anything cultural outside of sports, beer, burgers, and athletic shoes. Usually surrounded by Males. (Ideal huh, dun think they can achieve.. haha) 8) Mummy's Boy - He listens and follows whatever his mummy says. With above all stated, how could we forget about the traditional ones, HOMOSEXUAL, BISEXUAL. Haha. Guess they really do have a lot to choose from. hehe. I foresee they having IDENTITY CRISIS soon. Hah. BTW, I LOVE BEING A FEMALE. ; ) |
