Worry
____________________________________________________

Worry peaked yesterday night.

Worry for the things that

yet to happen,
might happen,
could happen.

I just could not concentrate on my studies, I just worried a lot.

I guess I created a mess in my life. I could not think clearly and most likely I would have make mistakes here and there.

I'm just worried over things that I did not have control over.

I just worry and worry and worry and can't study. And I badly need to study, because I had test today.

Fortunately, inspirational Darren told me something very very inspirational. (haha.. lame sentence)

"Don't worry, you are not GOD.

Let God do His job, let God watch over him."

I felt very consoled.

Really!

Even though Darren told me this, I felt consoled by GOD Himself.

I remember a passage in Bible:

"Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of "So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
"Therefore do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Mathew 6:25-34(NKJV)

Are we not worth more than birds?

It is amazing the way He moved through people's life (especially mine), how He made things work when everything just seemed impossible.

The Seven Deadly Sins
____________________________________________________

This set of The Seven Deadly Sins images are very nice. It is all done by Blackeri.

Just realised that sometimes I just commit one of the seven sins unknowingly. Sins are really dangerous. Do check her interpretation. It helps in understanding her images better. :)

I like the way her fabric is painted. It is very silky and nice. The lighting on her fabric is very very nice. ;P

Do you really know the difference?

Let's try again using images.

Titan's Venus of UrbinoManet's Olympia

Do you see any difference in the above two paintings (in terms of nudity and nakedness)?

I don't. . . seriously . .

To me, they are just 2 undress women.

But, there's really a difference. A woman is nude, the other is naked.

According to my art history lecturer, Olympia is naked while Venus of Urbino is nude. His main reason is because Olympia's body represents sex while Venus's represents beauty (fyi, Olympia was a prostitute).

Isn't Venus unapologetically erotic too?

So does it means that there is beauty of eroticism?

And porn is art too?

A few days ago, before I did this new skin, I was surfing around as usual. This girl, Ms Marie, gave me this inspiration for this skin. I love the very first picture that I saw of her.Her photographs are very well taken. And I realized later on that these pictures which are taken are actually for guys to pin-up.

And later later on, I saw the other images that the photographer took. All the photos are suggestive and some bodies are just naked and not nude (according to Olympia/Venus definition).

I really don't see the difference.

What is NUDE? What is NAKED?

Missing Piece
____________________________________________________

This post is inspired by The Missing Piece by Shel Silverstein.

"Hi," the small piece said.
"Hi," said the big piece.
"Are you anybody else's missing piece?"
"Not that I know of."
"Well, maybe you want to be your own piece?"
"I can be someone's and still be my own."
"Well, maybe you don't want to be mine."
"Maybe I do."
"Maybe we won't fit..."
"Well, we could try."

"Hmmmmm?"
"Ummmmm!"

It fit, although it is not a perfect fit.
But both big piece and small piece could move.

They moved uphill, downhill. They cross barriers.
But big piece found it hard to hold on to small piece because it isn't a perfect fit.

So they stopped.

Big piece let small piece down, and wanted to go its way.

"I thought I could roll with you?" small piece said.
"You are not a perfect fit, it is very hard to roll with you.
Perhaps you could find your perfect fit and roll with it comfortably." answered big piece.
"I felt that you are just the perfect on for me. What can I do to make you roll with me?"
"It's okay, perhaps you could roll by yourself."
"By myself?
A missing piece cannot roll by itself."
Big piece continued to roll away.

"I could fill myself with more soil to make your perfect fit. Will you roll with me?"

+ + + + + + + + + + +

What should big piece do?
